1-Wire isolated current sensor TSC201
Description
TSC201 is a compact current sensor with a 1-Wire interface and an input range up to 10 A, designed for AC and DC current monitoring. Its range allows direct measurement of low currents or connection to current transformers (CTs) with 10 A secondary output for accurate indirect monitoring of higher currents.
The sensor includes a 16-bit ADC that ensures high-resolution readings, ideal for load monitoring and energy diagnostics. Galvanic isolation between input and communication interface provides protection against noise and voltage transients.
TSC201 is factory calibrated and requires no user adjustment. It installs quickly, saving time and avoiding setup errors. The compact housing allows easy integration into control panels or cabinets.
Its combination of precision, electrical safety, and ease of use makes TSC201 suitable for new or existing systems. It is built to deliver reliable results even in demanding environments.
The sensor can be powered with 4 to 5.5 VDC. When connected to a Teracom controller, it receives both power and data through the 1-Wire interface, eliminating the need for separate power wiring and reducing installation complexity.
The update rate depends on the 1-Wire master. Teracom controllers typically request data every second, providing consistent and near real-time monitoring, well within the practical limits of the protocol.
TSC201 is housed in a 2-DIN rail-mountable enclosure, suitable for electrical panels and control cabinets. Its robust design ensures durability and stable performance in industrial environments.
The sensor is ideal for energy tracking, automation systems, and current diagnostics in commercial and industrial setups.
The TSC201 integrates seamlessly into monitoring systems where performance, connectivity, and current measurement are essential.
