Teracom and Inuatek are expanding their cooperation with the integration of Teracom monitoring and control devices into the Inuatek Data Collection Cloud (DCC).

The integration is the first step in a broader technology partnership between the two companies, combining Teracom’s industrial monitoring and control hardware with Inuatek’s scalable cloud platform.

Using MQTT, the Teracom Inuatek integration provides a straightforward path from sensors, meters, and industrial equipment to centralized monitoring, visualization, alarms, and data analysis.

From field devices to the cloud

Teracom controllers are designed to collect data from a wide range of sensors, meters, and industrial equipment.

Depending on the device, field equipment can be connected through 1-Wire, Modbus RTU, analog and digital inputs, while relay outputs and built-in automation provide local monitoring and control capabilities.

Using MQTT, the collected data can be transferred securely from the Teracom controller to Inuatek DCC.

This architecture separates the field and cloud layers. Teracom provides the hardware interfaces, data acquisition, connectivity, and local control, while DCC provides the software environment for working with data from multiple remote installations.

What Inuatek DCC adds

Inuatek DCC is an Industrial IoT platform designed for collecting, visualizing, and utilizing machine data from both stationary and mobile equipment.

Once data from Teracom devices reaches DCC, it can be used for centralized monitoring and applications such as dashboards, alarms, reports, and fleet-wide data management.

The platform is designed to scale from small installations to deployments with thousands of devices and supports multi-company structures. Deployment options include shared cloud, private cloud, and on-premises installations.

An important part of the DCC concept is its device-agnostic architecture. The platform is designed to work across multiple hardware vendors and protocols rather than requiring a single-vendor IoT infrastructure.

Extending Teracom monitoring beyond the device

Teracom controllers already provide the interfaces and communication protocols needed to collect field data and make it available to external systems.

The Teracom Inuatek integration adds a ready-to-use software platform for applications where users prefer not to develop and maintain their own cloud infrastructure.

This creates a simple architecture:

Field devices → Teracom controller → MQTT → Inuatek DCC

Sensors and industrial equipment remain connected through standard field interfaces, while DCC provides the higher-level tools for visualization, alarms, reporting, and centralized management.

The result is a flexible combination of industrial monitoring hardware and cloud software that can be used for individual sites as well as larger distributed installations.

A growing partnership

The cooperation between Teracom and Inuatek is intended to go beyond a single device integration. Both companies see opportunities to expand the range of supported Teracom devices and develop the partnership around new monitoring and control applications.

For Teracom customers, the integration provides a new software platform for turning data collected in the field into useful information for remote monitoring, maintenance, and operational decisions.
