Teracom announces Ruptela sensor integration, enabling Teracom 1-Wire temperature and humidity sensors to operate with selected
Ruptela telematics devices for fleet and remote environmental monitoring applications.
The integration was implemented through coordinated engineering validation and device-side software adaptation to support Teracom’s extended 1-Wire sensor protocol. This ensures stable communication, reliable sensor recognition, and consistent data transmission in real-world fleet deployments.
Ruptela Sensor Integration Overview
Ruptela sensor integration enables direct connection of Teracom temperature and humidity sensors to supported Ruptela GPS tracking devices without additional converters or external gateways. The implementation allows synchronized transmission of environmental measurements together with location and operational telemetry data inside a unified system workflow.
By supporting Teracom’s 1-Wire protocol structure and device identification logic, Ruptela devices can reliably detect, identify, and read multiple Teracom sensors connected on the same 1-Wire line. This simplifies installation and reduces configuration time for system integrators.
Supported Teracom 1-Wire Sensors
The integration supports the following Teracom temperature and humidity sensor models:

Selected Ruptela telematics models supporting Teracom 1-Wire temperature and humidity sensors include:
Applications in Fleet and Environmental Monitoring
Through this integration, fleet operators and system integrators can monitor cargo temperature and humidity conditions alongside vehicle position and movement data. This is particularly relevant for refrigerated transport, food logistics, pharmaceutical distribution, and other cold-chain applications where environmental compliance is critical.
In addition to fleet applications, the integration supports remote environmental supervision in mobile assets, service vehicles, and distributed technical sites. Environmental data can be transmitted in real time together with telematics data, enabling centralized monitoring and faster response to abnormal conditions.
Engineering-Based Implementation
The integration was validated through direct engineering cooperation to ensure compatibility with Teracom’s 1-Wire sensor structure and data handling logic. This approach guarantees stable long-term operation and predictable behavior in production deployments.
The solution simplifies deployment for integrators by reducing configuration complexity and eliminating the need for intermediary hardware components.
